The oil spill can be ended by tapping a side well into the oil reservoir to take off the pressure. Else the pressure at the wellhead is too great to cap, it seems.

It was the American government that then invaded Iraq under false pretences, destroying Iraq's industrial infrastructure, killing more tens of thousands and handing the country's governance back...
