The price of Art - more hi-end works to be donated to museums and galleries.

Given the economy, many of the superpricey paintings that have traded relentlessly upward may run into an iron wall of cold economic equations that sends their value plumeting. Not all but which? Which paintings will stand out as the jewels of the twentieth century? For the twentieth century's art history from 1900 to 1999 is only now becoming distant enough in time to start assessing. But how? By doing as other centuries may have done: all the smart people in the art field come together and set a standards, make value judgements from the perspective of an art professional on the art of the 20th century. Each category needs to be judged: nonrealist and realist genres both: abstractionism, expressionism, abstract expressionism, minimalism, bauhjau russian constructionism, Italian futurism. Same for Classic Realismm Photo realismm and surrealism and primitivism. A comprehensive standard for each category should be set. Then we will see what was truly valuable in the 20th...
